AAA

What is the AAA Division?

  • The AAA Division is primarily an instructional division which prepares kids to play in Majors.  AAA is typically reserved for players league ages 9 – 11, all of whom have played in the division previously or are moving up from AA based on evaluations.

  • AAA Teams will play a regular season schedule leading to a double-elimination tournament at the end of the season.

  • Players will be at the field approximately three times per week.  A typical schedule will include one fixed weekday practice, one weekday game, and one weekend game on Saturday.

  • Required practice and game equipment at this level includes:

    • Glove
    • Cup
    • Cleats
    • Baseball pants
    • Baseball hat
    • USA Baseball approved bat
    • Helmet
*Every coach is provided with league bats and helmets players are able to utilize throughout the season.  If you are in need of any other equipment, please contact [email protected] or your team manager

Player Evaluations

  • Every player must be evaluated.  The league uses evaluations for team placement and to achieve a competitive balance for teams.

  • Please have your player ready to warm up at least 20 minutes before the assigned evaluation time.  Players who come late and who do not warm up may not perform as well during evaluations.  Your player should come prepared with a baseball cap, baseball glove, bat, cleats, and a helmet.  Players will be catching, throwing, and batting during the evaluations.

  • During evaluations we ask that parents and siblings please stay off the fields and out of the dugout so the league volunteers may give their full attention to the players.

Information About Team Assignments

  • Team assignments in the AAA Division are determined by a draft.  Following evaluations, the AAA Commissioner, along with the Player Agent and other league officers will determine which players will be draft eligible based on age and skill level.

  • Following the draft, you will get an email with a team assignment from your team’s manager. Don’t worry if you do not hear from the league before then.

Mandatory Team Meeting

  • Per Little League rules, your team’s manager will schedule a team meeting before practices begin. Players and parents must attend to discuss expectations for the upcoming season and review and sign codes of conduct.

  • Uniforms will be handed out before the first game.
