SMLL Opening Day a Big Hit!

Opening Day 2020 went off with out a hitch.

Over 300 parents kids and coaches showed up for a busy and beautiful Day at Memorial Park this past February 22 for a first day of baseball. Highlights included Caffe Luxxe Coffee, pancakes, dunk tank, home run derby, and the first AAA and Majors games of the season. The snack shack opened its doors for the first time this season, and a shaved ice truck was on hand to suggest summer was on the way.

Congratulations to Teddy Levin who edged Aaron Heirigs for the opening day home run contest. Teddy ended with 8 dingers to Aaron's 7, setting up a classic rematch on Championship weekend four months from now.
